Prepare Your Manuscript
Ensure your manuscript follows our formatting guidelines and includes all required sections: title, abstract, keywords, introduction, methodology, results, discussion, conclusion, and references.
Submit Online
Submit your manuscript via email to journal@sharq.uz with a cover letter explaining the significance of your research and confirming that the work is original and not under consideration elsewhere.
Peer Review
Your manuscript will undergo a double-blind peer review process. Reviewers will evaluate the originality, methodology, significance, and clarity of your work. This typically takes 4-6 weeks.
Revision & Acceptance
Based on reviewer feedback, you may be asked to revise your manuscript. Once all revisions are satisfactorily completed, your article will be accepted for publication.
Publication
Accepted articles are published online immediately and included in the next quarterly issue. You will receive a DOI and publication certificate.
Manuscript Guidelines
Format Requirements
- File format: Microsoft Word (.docx) or LaTeX
- Font: Times New Roman, 12pt
- Line spacing: Double-spaced
- Margins: 2.5 cm (1 inch) on all sides
- Page numbers: Bottom center
- Length: 4,000-8,000 words (excluding references)
Structure
- Title: Concise and informative (max 20 words)
- Authors: Full names, affiliations, and email addresses
- Abstract: 150-250 words summarizing the study
- Keywords: 4-6 keywords for indexing
- Introduction: Background, objectives, and significance
- Methodology: Detailed description of methods and materials
- Results: Clear presentation of findings with tables/figures
- Discussion: Interpretation and implications of results
- Conclusion: Summary and future research directions
- References: APA 7th edition style
Tables and Figures
- Number tables and figures consecutively
- Provide clear captions and titles
- Ensure high resolution (minimum 300 dpi for images)
- Place tables and figures after references or embed in text
- Cite all tables and figures in the text
References
Use APA 7th edition citation style. Examples:
Journal article:
Smith, J., & Jones, M. (2025). Title of article. Journal Name, 15(2), 123-145. https://doi.org/10.xxxx
Book:
Brown, A. (2024). Book title (2nd ed.). Publisher Name.
Website:

Publication Ethics
Originality and Plagiarism
All submitted manuscripts must be original work. Plagiarism in any form is unacceptable. We use plagiarism detection software to screen all submissions. Proper citation of sources is mandatory.
Authorship
All listed authors must have made significant contributions to the research. Authorship should be limited to those who have contributed substantially to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the study.
Conflicts of Interest
Authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence their work. This includes funding sources, employment, consultancies, and personal relationships.
Data Availability
Authors should be prepared to provide raw data upon request for verification purposes. Data supporting the findings should be made available in accordance with ethical and legal requirements.
Human and Animal Rights
Research involving human subjects or animals must comply with relevant ethical guidelines and regulations. Approval from an ethics committee must be obtained and documented.

Sharq University Scientific Journal employs a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality and integrity of published research.
Review Criteria
Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on:
- Originality and significance of the research
- Appropriateness of methodology and analysis
- Clarity and organization of presentation
- Validity and reliability of results
- Relevance to the journal's scope
- Quality of references and citations
- Ethical considerations
Review Timeline
- Initial editorial review: 1-2 weeks
- Peer review: 4-6 weeks
- Author revision: 2-4 weeks
- Final decision: 1-2 weeks
- Publication: Immediately upon acceptance
Possible Outcomes
- Accept: Manuscript is accepted without revisions
- Minor Revisions: Small changes required before acceptance
- Major Revisions: Significant changes needed; re-review required
- Reject: Manuscript does not meet publication standards
